HANDY is a humble effort to serve nature and fashion.
Our finely selected HDPE Storage Essentials are designed keeping in mind the requirements of people from all walks of life and are manufactured keeping in mind that we aren’t going to Mars anytime soon.
But no greenwashing here. Our own factories in central India recycle used plastic. Our local artisans use that to create bags of supreme design and quality. Simple.

1 So it’s time for some science. Plastic is a more energy-efficient recyclable material than traditional materials like leather, paper and cotton. One ton of recycled plastic saves 5774 kWh of energy, 16.3 barrels of oil, and 30 cubic yards of landfill space. That’s something!
2 Now, disposing off plastic by burning it or simply throwing it away in landfills is not great for land, water, and air. With all good intentions, if we try to re-use any plastic at home, we end up putting it in refrigerators or owens, thus releasing microplastics into our food and water – not ideal either. However, did you know that making a bag is a very ‘neutral’ use of plastic, in terms of the temperature to which it is exposed. And so, that’s what we make! As a side-reward, we also reduce the use of traditional raw materials which need to be harvested. Also, did we mention – our fabric gets stronger with time. Wait, what?
